Hezekiah’s Story

Hezekiah is from Tanzinia. He currently helps in his community by helping plant vegetables that help provide food for his people. Hezekiah is looking to continue his education in the Clinical Medicine program. This program will help train him to become a nurse. While he knows that this program will take much of his time, he still has the desire to help his people. After completing school, he plans to continue to serve his community with his medical training. He also looks forward to teaching about the importance of healthy foods and hygiene.

Samson’s foundation in Tanzanian is SABCO, which means Small Action, Big Change.  This foundation’s mission is to provide the next generation with resources and knowledge to help make the world a better place.  SABCO wants to help the children in Tanzania learn English along with many other subjects to help them thrive. Samson and his team have set up classrooms and kitchens to help the children and community. Their goal is to provide food, uniforms, and classroom essentials.

Samson’s Story
A Well

For many of us, clean water is readily available. We rarely pause to consider what life would be like without it. Unfortunately, Tanzania is a place where many need more availability to clean water.  At Koken Cares, we know the need for clean water. Koken Cares does an annual trek that helps to provide communities in Tanzania with wells that provide clean water. Unfortunately, many cannot participate in the trek.  However, the financial aid others provide helps those who can.
